One day when I was 12, I was laying on the couch and watching TV, when I felt and then "saw" an older man leaning over and looking down at me! I was terrified! I didn't know what was happening and didn't know what to do. From that point on I've been in contact with the Other Side. The ability has changed a good deal since I spent every waking moment trying to suppress it. Now I rarely feel and "see" them in the same way.
I find it a terrible shame that there is no education or support in our community for people who display clairvoyant tendencies. If I had had some education and realized what was happening to me, I would have actively developed that ability instead of spending so much time and energy suppressing it! Popular media has only just begun to show that people with these abilities can use their Gift to help others. When I was growing up these abilities and "visitations" were painted in a much different light.
When I have kids tell me their experiences I never hesitate to assure them they are real. Its important that our children are encouraged and supported in their experiences. Forcing a child to ascribe to our reality is something I oppose. We need to teach our children to honor what they experience and support their reality. We need to empower them with the knowledge that we have seniority over discarnate entities and that these beings have no power over us.
Popular media paints a different story, but perhaps in time they will update their views in support of Truth.
