Meeting David and the Neighbor

When I was 18 I moved out of the house and I got involved with a "realtor" who rented Foreclosed apartments that had been vacated. You would only get to stay in them for a couple of months before the bank took them over, but they were very cheap and in SoCal, that was a blessing!

I moved into one of these apartments and the first night, as I laid in bed, I "saw" a man lay down next to me and look at me. He smiled. Unlike my other experiences I wasn't freaked out at all. He had such a nice energy that I felt comforted by his presence. He was like the big brother I always wanted!

A week later the next door neighbor came and she said, "You do know someone died in here don't you?" (yeah your typical busy body!) I said to her, "Yeah in the bedroom right?" and she affirmed that. I asked her, "Was it a tall, thin guy who wears really tight jeans and alligator boots and a cowboy hat? He had brown hair didn't he?" She looked at me strangely and asked, "Oh, did you know him?" I told her I didn't. She looked at me even more strangely and asked, "Were you a friend of the family?" I told her I wasn't. She asked me if I had seen a picture of him in some degree of desperation. When I told her I hadn't, she got exasperated and asked me how I knew what he looked like. I told her not to freak out but I was psychic and the first night I moved in, he came and introduced himself to me and laid down beside me.

She looked at me for a minute, waiting for the laugh that would signify a joke and when it wasn't forthcoming she hurried back to her own apartment and never spoke to me again!!! She would even go around the entire building to get her mail on my side of the building because she wanted to avoid me so badly!

This is a great example of the fear and bigotry intuitives can face. People don't understand and some people have religious convictions that they believe encourage them to despise people like us. Its such a shame that the world has systematically destroyed and persecuted people with these Gifts.

I often wonder what the world would be like today if intuitives had been encouraged instead of persecuted!
